Ross Valley Women’s League (RVWL), celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, is a volunteer group of central Marin women dedicated to supporting Adopt A Family of Marin. RVWL organizes an annual fundraiser held in the fall, which includes dinner and dancing, a live and silent auction, and individual and corporate sponsorship. All proceeds from the event benefit Adopt A Family.
Adopt A Family of Marin (AAF) believes that every family deserves respect, dignity and a place to call home. AAF is a community-based 501c3 corporation, where families in financial crisis can turn for financial, educational and emotional support. AAF serves low-income families with dependent children and helps to enable these families to become stable and productive members of our community. AAF assists only those candidates who have demonstrated that they are substance-free. Last year, Adopt A Family of Marin assisted nearly 300 families and 500 children throughout Marin County.
