Ross Valley Women's League 2020 Board

Sylvie Zolezzi, PRESIDENT

Sylvie has been a member of Ross Valley Women’s League since 2013. Over the years, she has been Vice President of RVWL and chaired the Gala, the Live and Silent Auction, and Membership for two years. Sylvie has also been a member of the Adopt A Family Board of Directors for the past four years. She has been living in the Bay Area with her husband and two dogs for the past 28 years and she raised both her children in Marin. She is a graduate of the Université de Provence in Aix-en-Provence, France and has a Master’s Degree from Columbia University in New York. She also attended the Fordham Graduate School of Business. She has 30 years of business experience, and is now focusing her time and energy on board work and supporting her community. She is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors, and is passionate about best practices in board governance and empowering board members–especially women—to excel and find purpose in their board work. She is a staunch believer in supporting her local community and in the excellent work of Adopt A Family to prevent homelessness in Marin County. She enjoys entertaining and whipping up culinary magic for her family and friends, traveling internationally, and hiking on the trails of Marin with her dogs.

Maureen Tierney, VICE PRESIDENT

Maureen has been a member of Ross Valley Women’s League since 2009.  Her previous RVWL experience includes past Board member and Vice President, Gala Chair, Live and Silent Auction Chair, Corporate Underwriting Chair, and Associate Liaison for several years.  Maureen was previously President of Full Circle Programs in Marin, President of Marin Tennis Club, President of her homeowners’ association, and volunteered as a Big Sister.  She is currently a Board member of Marin Tennis Club and a member of the San Francisco Symphony League.


She is a native San Franciscan and is happy to have called Marin County her home for the past 30 years.  She is a graduate of St. Mary’s College and holds a BS in Management.  She has over 35 years of business experience, including Director of Compensation at PG&E Corporation and Director of Executive Compensation Programs and Strategy for the University of California system.


Maureen is the proud mom of one son and enjoys traveling, tennis, and hiking.  She is honored to be working with the other dedicated women of Ross Valley Women’s League and Adopt A Family to prevent homelessness in Marin.

Deborah Devincenti, TREASURER


Deborah joined Ross Valley Women’s League in 2016. She has served as Gala Catalogue Co-Chair, Silent Auction Co- Chair and is the current Executive Board Treasurer.


She was an active volunteer in her daughters’ schools working on school fundraisers, the Parent Advisory Board and Parish Council. She spent eight years with her daughters in the National Charity League serving in various leadership positions including work on the Board as Treasurer.


Deborah received her BA in business from Bentley University in the Boston area.

Professionally, she has spent the majority of her career in commercial real estate including leasing, sales, management and lastly, working for Bank of America as a commercial loan underwriter. She currently manages a portfolio of commercial real estate properties.


She enjoys hiking, traveling, spending time with her family and volunteering in the local community.  

Ozlem Bishop, SECRETARY

Özlem Peksoy Bishop has a long standing dedication to education, children, science and arts. She served in the Ross Valley Mothers' Club and the Ross Recreation Auxiliary since 2005; serves her second term in SEAC of the Marin County Board of Education and joined Ross Valley Women’s League since 2017 and held Gala Chair position in 2018. She is a technology and business strategist, entrepreneur, advisor and mentor with decades of expertise in financial technology, risk, data strategy, governance, corporate and business development and artificial intelligence. Her professional expertise spans from leading treasury marketing at BNP Paribas Turkey; overseeing business development and global data strategy at Morgan Stanley Capital International over seventy five countries; standards developments, working groups and panels (active in global EDM Council; advising startups to judging in hackatons. 

Özlem holds BS in Physics, MS in Information Systems, MBA in Finance from Boğaziçi and HPU, and executive certificates from Stanford, Harvard Law, MIT Sloan Schools and Founder Institute. She lives with her daughter and son in Ross, enjoys design, golf, yoga and winter sports as a former national athlete.


Roxanne Najafi has been an active member of Ross Valley Women’s League since 2016 and she has held various chair positions such as wine auction chair for 2 years, Business Underwriting chair in 2018, and Vice President in 2018. In addition she also served on Adopt a Family of Marin Board in 2008 for one year.   Roxanne has lived in many parts of the world. After she graduated from high school in Tehran, Iran, she moved to Lucerne, Switzerland and attended American College for the applied arts, then she moved to London, and then to Atlanta Georgia in early 80’s  where she received her BA degree from American College, then moved to Lawrence Kansas, She moved to California in 1985 and to Marin County in 2002, when she married her current husband Alex Najafi.


Roxanne has worked in Real Estate, has managed and ran her family digital printing business in San Mateo, and has been part of a successful start up of online printing located in Palo Alto. She has been a member of Business Network International for several years and had served as the group president for a local chapter in 2012.  Her experience in running small businesses has allowed her to learn many skill sets on the job, from operations to sales and customer service, and networking, with title such titles as Digital printing Evangelist, and garment care specialist; Roxanne has lead staff of up to 40 people. Roxanne joined her husband’s Garment Dry Cleaning business located in Marin County in 2004 when she was instrumental in expanding and launching the company services in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. 


Alex and Roxanne have been business sponsors of RVWL annual gala since 2002.  Roxanne has, 2 adult children and 2 Stepchildren and one grand baby all living in Bay Area. She enjoys spending time with her husband Alex, friends and family, walks, reading (on her iPhone), wine tasting, weekend getaways, and meeting new friends and hosting parties!

Debra Mansfield, GALA CO-CHAIR

Kelly McLain-Treacy, GALA CO-CHAIR

Kelly McLain-Treacy is a newer member joining Ross Valley Women’s League in 2019 and this year she is the Gala Co-Chair. She is currently the Treasurer of the Tam High PTSA and a member of the Marketing Committee for the Financial Women of San Francisco. She also does work with the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention and has taken teen mental health education courses.


Kelly grew up in Palm Beach County, starting her career at KPMG in Miami, where she earned her CPA. Kelly worked in various equity trading businesses at Lehman Brothers, Societe Generale and JP Morgan and enjoyed the opportunities to live in NYC, Zurich and London before settling in Marin in 2014 with her husband and two step-children. After two years with Union Bank in San Francisco Kelly obtained her real estate license and started a consulting business with her husband focusing on real estate development and construction industry companies.

She graduated from the University of Florida with a Masters in Accounting and received two BS degrees in Business Administration - Management and Accounting. She and her family enjoy all of the outdoor opportunities that Marin offers and is an avid sports enthusiast participating in Ironman events, ultra-trail marathons, alpine climbing, and yoga.


Alex Cowley is the Gala Chair for the 2019 Ross Valley Women’s League. She first joined RVWL 2009-2011 and rejoined in 2018. Alex and her daughter were a part of NCL for 4 years and currently also serves on the board of Pencils for Kids, another non-profit organization that provides classroom supplies, programs, libraries and schools to children in Myanmar


Professionally, Alex is a successful realtor with Vanguard Properties and brings extensive local knowledge and expertise to her clients. With 20+ years of professional consultative sales experience in the advertising, integrated media and marketing communications field, she has leveraged her expertise from the business world to provide clients with strong negotiating skills, market insights, marketing expertise and a keen sense of design and aesthetics. She credits her work with iconic brands Real Simple, Cooking Light and Vogue for helping to develop and hone her passion for home and interior design, healthy food and active living. 

A 27-year transplant from NYC, Alex lives in San Anselmo with her husband and raised her twin 23-year-olds as well as a stepson and stepdaughter in Marin. She and her husband Mark love the Marin lifestyle and hike extensively throughout Marin with their two dogs as well as bike, sail at the Corinthian Yacht Club and ski. She is thrilled to be part of RVWL working with Adopt A Family to prevent homelessness in Marin.


Noël Stubblefield has been an active member of Ross Valley Women’s League since 2004.  Noel is a former President and has held every major chair of RVWL in her many years of service.  She also served as a member of the Adopt A Family of Marin Board for two years.  Noël has been a charity/community supportive member of various Marin County organizations since 1985, including The Volunteer Center of Marin (over 10 years, House Chair and board member for five years), Artisans Art Gallery (15 years, Board member), Marin Society of Artist, 2008 Board Member, and The  PTA of Bacich for eight years.


Noël has lived in Northern California all of her life, attending UC Davis and then moving to the Bay area. She is an oil painter ( and mother of 2 adult children.


Susan joined the Ross Valley Women's League in 2016.  She has held a variety of leadership positions including being the RVWL Secretary, Co-Chair of the Silent Auction and Co-Chair of the Gala Catalogue.  She has also been a Board Member for three years of the five years.  Currently she serves as the RVWL Liaison to the Adopt A Family Board.  She grew up in the midwest and moved to California after graduating from the University of Iowa.


Professionally, Susan had a long and successful career working in marketing and business management for large companies such as Carnation, Nestles and Wells Fargo Bank.  These companies afforded her the opportunity to strategically lead, promote and manage businesses in excess of 100 million dollars.  


Since retiring, she has remained very involved in community and philanthropic organizations.  She was very involved in the San Francisco Symphony and served as a Gala Chair, President of the Junior Womens Committee and Chair of Deck the Hall.  She also founded the San Francisco Symphony Community Day which provided an opportunity for children throughout the Bay Area to attend the San Francisco Symphony.  This outreach event has become a longstanding tradition of the Symphony. As an involved parent, Susan has served on a variety of Boards including the National Charity League, her children's schools and the Bay Area Discovery Museum.


Susan is a avid hiker, traveler and cook.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and two adult children.  She is proud of the work that RVWL and Adopt A Family do to support families in Marin.


Laura Mathieux is a public relations professional with more than a dozen years of experience, working with clientele ranging from tech start-ups, to Swedish and English royalty, to beauty entrepreneurs and fashion designers. She has lived in Marin County for a collective 20 years, and attended Marin Academy high school.

She is well aware of the local need for an organization such as Adopt A Family of Marin, and in doing so is passionate about her involvement with Ross Valley Women’s League. Previous philanthropic work has included the Junior League of San Francisco as well as the Little Jim Club, a California Pacific Medical Center auxiliary group. She lives in Ross Valley with her husband and two daughters.

Jennie is the Ross Valley Women’s League’s Strategy Chair.  She has been an active member of the Ross Valley Women’s League since in 2013, and has held a number of leadership positions including serving on their Executive Board as Treasurer from 2015-2017 and Adopt a Family Liaison where she was a member of Adopt a Family’s Board from 2017-2019.  Jennie is currently a strategic marketing consultant working with companies to grow their businesses.  Previously she held senior leadership positions at American Express, Wells Fargo, and Rabobank. She also worked at several start-ups including Shutterfly, where she built and ran its consumer marketing department in its early years.  Jennie received a BA from Middlebury College and her MBA from Amos Tuck School of Business, Dartmouth College. A lifelong volunteer, she currently raises funds for her business school and holds a Board advisory position at a not-for-profit startup. In 2020 she was named Board President for Adopt a Family Marin.  In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband to international locations and hiking the trails of Marin.

Jennie Martzloff, STRATEGY CHAIR



Rosanna Chenette is an attorney in Marin County. Her primary areas of practice are in Estate Planning, Trust Administration, Asset protection, Elder Law, Special Needs Trusts, and Governmental Benefits Planning.    
Rosanna received her B.A. in Philosophy from the California State University, Sacramento and her J.D. from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.  She received Honors at Entrance to McGeorge, and she was the proud recipient of a McGeorge Scholarship.  While in law school, Rosanna was honored to participate in McGeorge’s Salzburg Study Abroad Program. While in Salzburg, Austria, she studied Comparative Law with U.S. Supreme Court Associate Justice, Anthony M. Kennedy (Ret). 
She is an active member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and WealthCounsel, an association of over 4,000 attorneys where ideas and best practices on estate planning are shared. She is a committed member of the Rotary Club of Novato and the Novato Chamber of Commerce.  
In her spare time, Rosanna enjoys volunteering and spending time with her family.  She is a past board member of the Ross School Foundation and she is a past president of the Ross Valley Women's League, where she has been a member since 2014.   


Raquel is an accomplished technology leader with over 15 years of experience managing, planning, leading and implementing technology initiatives to launch multimillion-dollar products in domestic and international markets. From innovative technology start-ups to market leading Fortune 100 companies, she has helped to develop hardware and software products used by hundreds of millions of people, disrupting and helping to unlock the potential of the future. Her experience includes roles with EchoStar, Fitbit, Slingbox, Berkshire Hathaway, and Verizon, among others.


As the founder of Cleo and Mathilde, Raquel is also a designer and entrepreneur. While  enjoying a short break from the tech industry in 2019 she decided to pursue her love for fashion, the environment  and technology. She launched, a direct-to-consumer e-commerce site offering luxury fashion with an ethos that is sustainable and timelessly relevant. Her “slow fashion” approach utilizes andean luxury fibers and silk remnants created by skilled craftsmen in Peru and Marin County, CA.


She is originally from Peru, majored in Business at CU in Colorado where she lived for many years before moving to the Bay Area in 2012 and eventually to Marin County in 2017. 


Raquel has been a member of RVWL since 2019, other non-profit organizations where she has volunteered include Habitat for Humanity, Dress for Success and Mi Casa.


Cece McGraw initially joined RVWL in 2004 and served over the next five years in various positions, such as Vice President, Secretary, Wine Auction Chair, Social Chair, and Underwriting Co-chair. While maintaining a RVWL Associates Membership over the years and her ties to the organization that she loves, she decided to rejoin RVWL in 2018 to become more actively involved. She has since served as Raffle Auction Chair and Live Auction Chair.

Cece grew up in San Francisco and is always proud to mention that she is a 5th generation. She graduated Summa Cum Laude at SFSU and received her J.D. from Hastings Law School. Always reinventing herself, she has also worked as an R.N. at UCSF Hospital in NBICU, served as a medical-legal consultant, and worked for the California Supreme Court under Justice Grodin. She is currently involved in Real Estate and Property Investing.

She moved to Marin 30 years ago to raise her 3 sons; the oldest are twins. As a single mother, she has always been actively involved in their lives and school functions; serving on the Board of Trustees at Marin Catholic High School and at St. Mary’s College.  

Her commitment to an array of charities began with her involvement as a Reporter on the Bay Area Television Program, “Everybody’s Angels,” which highlighted volunteers in our community and a variety of charitable organizations. Cece McGraw has served as a Board of Trustees Member for “Home Away from Homelessness”, as well as “Cure MS Now.” More recently she is a San Francisco Symphony League Member, Original Member of “100 in Marin Who Care”, Chair of “Holy Family Day” Annual Fundraiser, and a “North Bay Children's' Center” Volunteer.

Cece enjoys squash, wine tasting, and hiking, but she will enthusiastically admit that her penchant is for travel. She has traveled the world; to 5 continents and nearly 25 countries with her three sons, and is anticipating many more travel adventures to follow.     


Louise relocated to California in 1994 from Scotland on assignment with Sun Microsystems and enjoyed the work and lifestyle culture and elected to stay. She continued her career in the Hi Tech field holding various management positions within Sun after which she left to join a start up company, Ridge Technologies as Director of Operations which was acquired soon thereafter by Adaptec. Louise, having always had a passion for real estate development, embarked on a new career as President of her own Real Estate development company developing projects over the next 10 years in San Francisco and Hawaii and continues to be involved in the real estate world. Always reinventing herself Louise made a radical career change with the intent of being more service oriented especially in the community that she currently resides in and founded Reflections, an upscale dual diagnosis drug and alcohol rehab program in Marin County. As a result of this Louise has become very well versed in the plethora of mental health issues which lead to self medicating that plague all socio economic levels of our community but particularly challenging for those less able to afford the necessary treatment. Louise is also a single mother of two adopted girls from orphanages in China. 

Leah Kilfoyle, RAFFLE CHAIR


Leanne is in her third year with the Ross Valley Women’s League after joining in 2018. Last year she served as both the Invitation Chair and Catalog Chair. She moved to Napa California from Northern Virginia in 1977 and later attended UC Davis and the ArtCenter College of Design, Pasadena. She is a professional Graphic Designer with over 25 years of experience and now is honored to use her creative talents to support and benefit Adopt A Family of Marin. She has lived in San Anselmo since 2010 and enjoys family and friends, travel, tennis, and spending time in the kitchen experimenting on her husband with plant based meals.

Danielle Buoncristiani, WEBSITE CHAIR

Danielle joined Ross Valley Women’s League in 2018 and holds the position of RVWL Website Chair.

Danielle volunteered at the San Francisco Zoo (6yrs) and Sacramento Zoo (2) in their Educational Department. Danielle graduated from UC Davis with a BS in Zoology.  Danielle continued her education at Chapman University for her K-8th teaching credential.  She moved to Marin County in 1990 and taught at Marin Primary and Middle School, in Larkspur, for 10 years.  Danielle’s lifetime love and passion for photography has been a constant through Danielle’s life since high school.

Since 2000 Danielle has been a Professional Portrait Photographer with her specialty in Family and Generational Portrait Sessions.  Her love of kids, animals, families, and photography is a perfect combination for a Family Portrait Photographer.

Danielle loves to give back to her community. She has volunteered in different capacities; at her sons’ schools, Assistant Boy Scout Leader for 5 years, and now RVWL. Danielle loves to hike, garden, camp, read, wine tasting, cook and entertain.  Danielle loves living in Marin with her husband, sons, and their dog Tucker.

Danielle is proud to be working with such dedicated women who work to make a difference with Adopt A Family in Marin to help local families.
