Lori Docherty, Co-President

Lori joined RVWL in 2017 and jumped right in to serve as Corporate Underwriting Chair. Since then she has held several other Executive Board positions including Membership Chair, Wine Chair, and Vice President.

Following a successful career in marketing and communication in Los Angeles, many of which were spent at the helm of her own sports and entertainment marketing company, Lori returned to her roots in San Francisco where she worked with recognized brands such as VISA USA, and the San Jose Sharks. Her entrepreneurial spirit then led her to parlay her business and marketing experience into real estate.  Working in high-end real estate while residing in San Francisco, the mother of two moved with her young family north to Marin in 2005, drawn to the lifestyle, schools, and tight-knit community that Marin has to offer.    She was a Founding member of Compass Real Estate in Northern California and opened the first office in Marin County where she works as a top-producing Realtor today.

Giving back has always been part of the fabric of who Lori is and as such as she has volunteered for many organizations over the years, from Larkspur-Corte Madera Schools Foundation, the American Cancer Society, Home For A Home, and many more local, national and international organizations.  Instilled with the firm belief that every family deserves a safe haven to call home she is now focused on RVWL and their support of Adopt A Family of Marin to prevent homelessness in Marin.

She is the proud mother of Aidan who is currently a sophomore at the University of Arizona and a member of their Rugby team, and Kayleigh who is a freshman at the University of Michigan and spent several years mentoring children at Bridge the Gap in Marin while in school at Redwood High School.
